Kiyosume Maru

This was our second dive of the trip, a relatively shallow dive with the starboard side at 40' in 120' of water. Kiyosume Maru is 430' in length with a 60' beam, and served as a troop carrier for the invasion of Midway. All of the wrecks have their signature items, in this case the lantern, propeller blades in aft hold, and a bicycle. Most of the wrecks also have an area where the dive guides have collected a variety of artifacts, which range from bottles, gas masks, china, pots, and on occasion, human remains.
