Heian Maru
The Heian Maru was launched in 1930 as a Japanese ocean liner, then converted to an auxillary submarine tender. Sunk during Operation Hailstone, it's teh largest wreck at 535' in length and a 65' beam. Sunk by a TBM-3 Avenger's torpedo, she sank and now lies on port side in 110' of water. The ships name is visible across the bow in both Anglo and Japanese characters. The wrecks main draws are spare periscopes and snorkels, as well as torpedoes.
